I was born in a small town, and I mix in a small town.
Not too much to tell. I grew up listening to 70’s AM and 70’s/80’s top-40 FM radio, so it comes as no surprise that I lean towards remixing songs from these decades. Years ago, I found some multitrack master sessions floating around online. These are the isolated recorded tracks (drums, vocals, guitars etc…) from the original recording session. Simply hearing the recording sessions in a way that only musicians, producers and engineers get to hear them is an experience in itself. I was immediately hooked! Over the last couple years, I have been priviledged to have had access to some amazing sessions. Combining the use of the original session tracks, the use of Ableton (the best DAW on the market), sample libraries and the creation of original sounds is my recipe. I hope you enjoy my remixes as much as I enjoy making them.
